Frequently Asked Questions
When and where do we shoot?
I love to show the story of your brand authentically and that’s usually best done wherever you do business, whether that is your office or in the broader context of a scenic Sun Valley or other Pacific Northwest landscape. I also have a small home studio for headshots and product shots.
Will I have permission to share our images online and in print?
Absolutely: These are your images and I want you to use them across every online and print platform. Each photography package includes commercial usage rights.
When will the photos be ready?
I guarantee a turnaround time of two weeks from the time you select your images from your gallery of proofs to the delivery of your professionally edited images via your private online gallery. (Additional retouching may require more time.) Images may be downloaded instantly and will remain available for one year.
What should I wear?
Keep it simple, keep it classic, keep it timeless. Bright colors and whites look great, but stay away from large patterns and words. Above all, be the best version of you in a way that shows your best assets while remaining authentic to your brand. If professional hair and makeup helps you feel confident that will shine through in your photos.
Can you Photoshop me?
My style is photojournalistic in approach, when shooting and in the virtual “darkroom.” Every final image I deliver is professionally edited for exposure, color correction, cropping and straightening to achieve a pleasing and technically accurate final image, completed in a natural manner. Portfolio images on this website are an accurate reflection of my work. Further editing is considered retouching and is available on a per image basis, starting at $25 per image for standard retouching requests, or more for complex requests. That said, I am a body positive photographer and I do not believe in skin smoothing or body slimming manipulations. I promise to help you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, and to create a flattering final result.
